Your view from the computer is pretty! And your little friend is pretty darn cute, too. The prettiest songbirds I ever attracted arrived the summer I had a broken arm and no-one else would pull weeds, so we ended up with ridiculously out of control weeds, but amazing birds. I thought it was a trade off. My neighbors may have disagreed...

Before we moved about a month ago, my office window overlooked a part of the yard where the birds flocked to. It was neat getting to watch them, even if they were noisy at times.

I've seen so many goldfinches this year. It's always such a surprise when I see that bright yellow flutter by. I don't ever remember seeing them in the past. This must be the year of the goldfinch.
God, my cats would desperately trying to go through the window to make a new friend there.
