This morning the actual temperature here was 10 degrees with the wind chill taking it down to around 7 below. The good news is that the days are noticeably longer.
Here are a few photos to warm us up.

Oh so ready for spring! It is pretty mild here in Alabama, it was in the 30s this morning so I won't complain too much! :)
Yesterday we were at 7 degrees without the wind chill. I keep thinking that spring is right around the corner and then I remember, oh, yeah...it's January. I'm so ready for this to be over.
Oh Sandy, I can't even imagine getting out in temps like that, I'm a giant wimp!!
Spring will be here soon.....I pray!
Sigh! ;) torture!!! I am sure living in Hawaii is a must on my 'to do before I die list' ;) Did you take these pics yourself? Lovely!

THe pictures are beautiful. I love the second one. IT really makes me smile. yumm, green apple! Lol Great blog
I noticed the tips of my Daffodils coming up already...and Bee Balm is a favorite!
Pics look great (from what I can see on my phone) I am very ready for spring. I am in Texas though, so not nearly as cold here as what you've got.
Pretty pictures. Hope you warm up soon!
Looking forward to those days. We are so lazy here that we just open the door to let the dog out. And I freeze in the 5 seconds I'm standing there with the door open. And I am someone who is normally hot all the time.
Of all days to meet a friend from northern MA at Wrentham. It was freezing! I have wind burn on my face now. I do love winter, but today was a bit extreme, even for me.
I'm glad it's not dark anymore when I get home from work, spring is on the way, 50 days to go!
Come on down to Tampa. It's been lovely. All though it is going to be nasty rainy here this weekend. Ick!
Thanks.
I really needed that today.
Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest :) Have a great weekend!
Come. On. Spring.
(thanks for the photographic reminder that it WILL come again...)
Is it wrong that I'm SO looking forward to spring and then the return of summer? I like to tell people that the only reason I live in a cold climate is because my husband can't stand the heat!
thanks for the sunny pictures! saw that you joined my site as a follower! thank you! i'll do the same. your posts are really a joy to follow. take care and be well!

I have a feeling Spring is a long ways off for us. It just snowed almost 3 inches over night.
*sad face*
Hello Sandy!
I had to stop by after reading your comment in my blog post about my seizures and MRI. OMG! You were 53 when this happened? I'm 53! You smell smoke all the time? I smell something burnt all the time! I never even thought of it as a symptom - it's just a slight, unpleasant, annoying odor, that's been ever-present for several months now - how weird is that?! You have me so curious now, and I will have to do a bit of research and see if I may be overlooking other symptoms that may lead to answers.
They say great minds think alike...last week, I began a post on spring, with plenty of bright colorful photos! I've temporarily put it aside, though, as we are enjoying the largest snow we've had in 7 years, so I'm off now to get some photos to post tonight.
Take care of yourself, and thanks for visiting me!
I'm Warm!
Ahhh you make me long for spring and summer! I'm tired of the freezing cold here!
Beautiful! I want it to be spring so bad!!
