This was in St. Peter's Cathedral in Vatican City. I've heard of kissing rings but not toes.
Oops, looks like somebody dropped something. That's Don and Paul. Must have been green-shorts-and-tan-shirt day.
Your comments are greatly appreciated! I read them all. They are the only way I know you were here!

Too funny!
Love the car photo!!
And love the name of your blog also!!
Over from SITS!
I have similar pictures! Instead of kissing toes, which is fairly unusual, we chose to reinact God's creation of man (the finger pointing painting in The Sistine Chaple).
Again. You make me very nostalgic!
Ginger, yeah, Don was being just a tad irreverent. Glad to take you down your memory lane!
Auuuugggghhhh, I'm so jealous! Great foot shot, though!
Great photos! Makes me want a glass of wine and cannoli.
Alex, not trying to make anybody jealous....you'll get there someday!
Sitting on the mood swing......my favorite food was the olives!! The wine wasn't bad either. ;-)
These photos are so much fun! I miss Italy and am hoping to take a trip back sooner than later. I mainly stayed in Rome [I would love to venture to other big cities], but I certainly can't complain. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the history... it was all so beautiful. It was a bit rainy and cold the first time around [we stupidly went in February], but the second time was gorgeous.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm glad you did; I'm going to have fun catching up with your blog. :)
Have a great weekend!
Alicia
Foto fantastiche! Amo l'Italia!
Oh, how I hope to get back there someday! (big sigh.)
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I am tired of people taking pictures of my car! ;)
Barry, I totally understand, it won't happen again. ;-)
Love the toe kissing picture!
Too funny!
Thanks for the encouragement for the bridge run. It is 2 miles and 140 feet above the water... I'm skeered!!! I'll try to take some pictures on Sunday and post them. :)
Brittany, yeah, my cousin's a real card! Just as crazy as when he was a kid. Absolutely take pictures of the run! Good luck!
